Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the picturesque scenery of Italy, my recent getaway to Parc Hotel Gritti was a culinary delight intertwined with historical charm. Two dining rooms, Cipriani and D'Annunzio, offered a buffet breakfast that was both hearty and satisfying. As an art historian, the historical sights, including the Church of San Severo, added a layer of authenticity to my stay. The outdoor swimming pool beckoned with sunbeds and a grill bar, where I indulged in a flavorful second course and a refreshing soft drink. The poolside bar and terrace were ideal spots for unwinding, complemented by a verdant garden that exuded tranquility.Navigating the hotel's culinary offerings was a joy, with Italian cuisine and international specialities, including organic and gluten-free options. Exploring nearby restaurants like La Loggia e La Barchessa Rambaldi and Munus provided a diverse gastronomic experience. The American Bar, with its live piano entertainment, added a touch of sophistication to my evenings.
